M/S Estonia sank on Wednesday, 28 September 1994 on route from Estonia to Sweden. Thirty years later, M/S Estonia still rests on the seabed.
For the families and loved ones of the victims, the absence of a physical grave leaves a profound void. There is no place to gather, to mourn, or to remember together.Until now.
Estonia – Eternal Light is an interactive, collaborative art piece that transforms music into a living memorial of remembrance. With just a smartphone and headphones, participants engage with the experience in a place of their choosing, making each encounter deeply personal. Once their location is set, the journey begins.
